Fightttt! Mortal Kombat, who does not love a good brawl. The past few years we’ve seen fatalities, brutalities and epic story lines made manifest in our favorite games. The devs have not disappointed. Today we are ranking mortal kombat characters in terms of who’s just better. Lets get into it.
10.SONYA
Coming in at number 10 is Sonya and that’s not taking anything away from her. Sonya has been a mainstay since the first game and the fandom adores her. She comes in tenth for her cultural impact and her managing to stay relevant all these years.
9.SHAO KAHN
Coming in at number 9 is Shao Kahn. Sure we didn’t see him for a few games but that’s okay. Shao Kahn is one of the classic villains from outworld who has menaced our heroes since the very beginning. As far as mortal kombat characters go he definitely secures his spot in the top 10.
8.KUNG LAO
Ah, Kung Lao. Another daring hero. Some may question his appearance on this list but I think he deserves it. An all round character that any player can get the handle on Kung Lao has given us some fun times. If he’s not supposed to be on this list I don’t know who is as far as mortal kombat characters go.
7.SUBZERO
Yes, the master of the cold himself, Sub Zero. I know you were expecting to see him eventuallu and you were not wrong. Subzero is a mainstay who absolutely had to be featured and there he is right there repping for all to see.
6.JOHNNY CAGE
Here’s Johnny. Like there was going to be a top 10 mortal kombat characters list without Johnny Cage. Johnny is one of the most iconic characters as far as the franchise is concerned. Making his debut in the first game he has endured to its current iterations. He definitely deserves his spot at number six and he’s got personality too.
5.CASSIE CAGE
A newer member of the cast. Cassie is the daughter of Johnny and Sonya. It may come as a bit of a surprise to some that she’s on here, but with that quick wit and classy Johnny cage mouth you should have seen it coming. Since she arrived she’s captivated audiences. She most certainly had to be on this list.
4.JAX
Next up is Jax. Yes the main man with the steel arms had to make an appearance. Jax is also one of the classic og characters. He has been throwing punches since the beginning. A classic character that brute users typically rely on. We got you guys covered.
3.RAIDEN
I’m sure you saw this coming. Yes there was no way the god of thunder was going to be missing from this list. Raiden has been there since day one and he’s still taken heads.
2.SCORPION
Get over here. Perhaps the most iconic character in the game if not then one of the most iconic characters in all of fiction. Scorpion started off as a villain but has since then been transformed into a tragic hero. Its nice to see him here isn’t it?
1.LUI KANG
Who else? Of course top spot goes to none other than Lui Kang, the champion of earth realm. From winning the tournament to dying to coming back to life to becoming a god Lui Kang has done it all. As far as mortal Kombat characters go he’s definitely number one.
