Naruto is undoubtedly one of the most popular anime to ever hit our screens. Many of us grew up watching our orange-doused hero take on challenge after challenge and grow. Along the way we met a ton of characters a whole host of Naruto characters. This is our list of top 10 Naruto characters.
10.Gaara
Who could forget Gaara of the sand. When we first met Gaara he was one of those Naruto characters who struck fear into us. Admit it, we were all worried for Rock Lee when he had to fight that beast. Those children from the hidden sand were really monsters. Since then it has been a pleasure to see him grow and bloom into the Kazekage he was destined to be.
9.Sasuke
Where do I begin? As far as Naruto characters go Sasuke Uchiha is a very important one. Naruto’s brother in many ways this guy gave us heartaches and a ton of reasons to hate him before returning to the tried and true path. That said it has been wonderful seeing him grow and train Boruto as his new sensei.
8.Orochimaru
One of Naruto’s more interesting characters. Who doesn’t love Orochimaru, though misguided he’s a simple fellow simply doing what he must for the sake of his science and ambition. I sometimes pity him because of all the nonsense he has to go through but he’s still a lovable character as far as Naruto characters go. What would the Naruto franchise be without Naruto.
7.Naruto
The MC himself, Naruto definitely deserves a spot on this list and not just because he’s the main character. Naruto definitely created some memorable moments on the show, whether through his slapstick humor, badassery or heart-wrenching moments, Naruto’s spot on this list is safe and secure.
6.Kakashi
We couldn’t have a top 10 Naruto characters list without Kakashi Hatake and there he is Kakashi of the sharingan. Kakashi is a true gem as far as Naruto characters go, a true prodigious talent and eventual hokage, Kakashi was one of the mainstays that made watching Naruto so memorable and enjoyable. It’s great still having him around.
5.Pain
Pain, oh Pain. By now you are all familiar with the monster that destroyed the village, killed Kakashi and put most of your favorite shinobi in the hospital. He definitely deserves his place on our list of top Naruto characters. His philosophy and aura put him at top tier.
4.Itachi
Speaking of aura, no one screams it louder than Itachi, the darling boy of the fandom. You would be hard pressed to find a Naruto fan who does not have a deep respect for Itachi and as far as Naruto characters go he may certainly deserve it. Number four goes to him.
3.Obito
The tragic hero of the Narutoverse. Obito needed to be on this list and his spot number three is definitely well earned. Similar to Naruto in so many ways it is only unfortunate that such tragedy befell him sending him into the hands of the ghost of the Uchiha. Even so he was always quite fun to watch and is definitely up there when discussing Naruto characters.
2.Jiraiya
Everyone teared up when Jiraiya died. We just could not believe the pervy sage was gone. The list would not have been complete without him and it would have been criminal to rank him any lower. Jiraiya takes second place in our list of top 10 Naruto characters.
1.Madara
The OG himself; Madara. Peak ninjutsu, peak genjutsu, peak taijutsu. Who else was it going to be than the ghost of the Uchiha himself. From the very first time he’s mentioned to when he first arrives on screen Madara dominated the show. It is for this reason he steals the number one spot on our list of top 10 Naruto characters.
