Yu yu hakusho was a much beloved anime. It had some of the greatest characters in all of anime. Heroes, villains and slap stick humor fun filled figures. Today we want to rank 10 of Yu yu hakusho’s characters in order of how great they were starting with number 10
10.BOTAN
Starting off at number 10 is Botan. She’s a one of a kind to be frank and the fact that she’s at the bottom of this list doesn’t mean otherwise. She actually did really well to be considered. She scores a magnificent 10 because of her humor and sense of duty. We absolutely adore her and she is one of our favourite Yu yu hakusho characters.
9.KOENMA
Watching Yu yu hakusho growing up Koenma was one of my favorite characters. As far as Yu yu hakusho characters go he’s definitely up there. Constantly playing important roles as the master of the spirt world he typically gave the gang their missions. He totally deserves his spot on this list.
8.MUKURO
Coming in at number 8 is none other than Mukuro of the three kings. Without a doubt one of the most powerful characters in the entirety of the show Mukuro was also an endearing addition to the cast. Her charm only matched by her sadism as far as Yu yu hakusho characters go she is definitely one of the more memorable ones.
7.SENSUI
Did this guy give anyone else the chills? He certainly gave them to me. Shinobu Sensui was without a doubt one of the more chilling figures as far as yu yu hakusho characters go. His multiple personalities didn’t help, that coupled with his background and story arc definitely made him a character to be remembered.
6.TOGURO
As far as Yu yu hakusho was concerned the Toguro brothers were a menace, but the more menacing of the duo was without a doubt the younger Toguro brother. This evil piece of work had even Yusuke shitting his pants. Yu yu hakusho definitely had some great characters but few made as much of an impression as the younger Toguro brother.
5.YUSUKE URAMESHI
Coming in at number five in our list of top 10 Yu yu hakusho characters is none other than the MC himself Yusuke Urameshi. I typically don’t have main characters as my favorite but Yusuke is the exception. Indeed a bit brash and hot headed traits I typically don’t like as much when it comes to Yusuke it’s a completely different story.
4.KURAMA
Number four is Kurama. As far as Yu yu hakusho characters go I absolutely adore this one. He is my kind of character. Warm hearted and cool headed. He definitely gave us some memorable moments in the show and manga and I definitely had a good time anytime he was on screen.
3.HEIE
Initially an antagonist Heie would grow to become a valued member of the team. Despite being a demon, having a rough past and being a bit cold hearted Heie still nurtures a little warmth inside. He earns his place on this list of top Yu yu hakusho characters coming in at number three.
2.KUWABARA
Coming in at number two is the street brawler Kuwabara. Who could forget his tear provoking reaction to Yusuke’s death and his indispensable help as the story progressed. Kuwabara was definitely one of a kind as far as Yu yu hakusho characters go and we are glad to have him on our list.
1.RAIZEN
Last but certainly not least is the goat himself Raizen. Raizen takes the top spot on the list for his sheer gravitas and aura. From his very first appearance he radiated terror, manhandling Shinobu and establishing himself as someone not to be trifled with Raizen is most certainly number one as far as Yu yu hakusho characters are concerned.
